The last thing Jesus said on the cross was, “It is finished.” At that moment, it certainly looked like the end. It looked like it was over. But I believe that wasn’t just a statement of fact, it was a statement of faith. He was saying to Father God, “I’ve done My part. I’ve fulfilled My destiny. Now, I’ve got total trust and confidence in You that You are going to finish what You started through Me.” Even though it looked like the end, in reality, it was only the beginning.
Remember, when things look dark in your own life, dare to make a declaration of faith and say, “It is finished.” What you’re really saying is, “God, I know You are going to finish what You’ve begun in my life. You are going to turn things around.
I know that You are giving me the breaks that I need. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!” Keep looking with your eyes of faith knowing that He is faithful, and He will finish what He’s started in you!

Dongwan: I just have a certain area of knowledge. I don’t really know a lot.
Dongwan, you are always way too humble. His various blog posts over the years, from movie and book quotes to insights about current issues and events, show a man who is not only intelligent, but someone who is constantly seeking out more knowledge. During his 2-year service as a public officer, he went to a private academy to learn Japanese after work. He also went to an English academy for a month (and probably would’ve continued if he hadn’t gotten crazy busy with filming his movie and preparing for Shinhwa’s comeback). His well-known wit and eloquence were why he became the first idol ever to host his own radio show (1010 Club from 2000-2002). He’s known for keeping up with current events (there are accounts of him showing up to demonstrations when national problems have arisen over the years). Junjin once mentioned that Dongwan knows so much about health that when the people around them get sick, they go to Dongwan instead of the hospital. If you watched his part in the making of the ‘Venus’ music video, he explains the capabilities of the fancy camera lens to the Liveworks CEO (the videographer confirms what he says and CEO Jang is amazed XD). He’s also someone who gives sound life advice to his friends and hoobaes. I could go on and on (and probably will at some point…perhaps for the next editorial^^).

If you’ve been keeping up with updates about the guys in Shanghai, you may have read accounts that Dongwan is staying somewhere separate from the guys. While it’s totally understandable to be worried about Dongwan, I don’t think it’s right to speculate that it’s because he’s not getting along…
